Dovetail Cottage - Llangollen

I stayed at this lovely holiday home in Llangollen and had a fantastic time exploring the area. The highlight for me was the beautiful garden, where I spent many hours enjoying the peaceful surroundings. It was like stepping into a botanical wonderland, with vibrant flowers and lush greenery. Plus, the free WiFi was a great bonus, allowing me to stay connected while basking in the garden's tranquility.

Access to the property was a bit challenging due to the steep and rough track behind it.

The cottage felt like a home away from home with its amazing amenities like a large smart TV and free WIFI. The ultra modern bathroom was luxurious, featuring a beautiful freestanding bath and a large walk-in shower. The property was spotlessly clean and the spacious kitchen/living area was perfect. The beds were comfortable and the communication from the hosts was excellent. The location was ideal, within walking distance of everything, and the facilities were great for cooking a decent meal. The large bathroom with a separate shower and bath added to the overall experience. The keycode collection process could have been easier, but that was my own mistake. The cottage was cosy and clean, and the location was perfect - close enough to the town centre but not right in it. a superb stay with everything we needed for a fantastic weekend!

Personally, I wasn't a fan of the bidet. It's just not something I'm used to, but others might enjoy it.

The beautiful artwork on the walls added a lovely touch as well. As a senior woman, I appreciated the attention to detail in making the hotel accessible for people like me. The general areas were well-maintained and easy to navigate, which made my stay comfortable and enjoyable.

If there was one thing I would ask for to make the vacation even better for senior people, it would be the presence of a handrail along certain areas of the hotel. Having a sturdy handrail would provide extra support and stability, especially for those of us who may need a little assistance.
